For many Robina businesses, book keeping can be very time consuming. Have you ever thought how long it takes to complete your BAS lodgements each quarter?
According to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), small business owners spend an average of two hours each quarter completing their Business Activity Statements.
One wonders if that includes all the time getting their bookwork in order!
It’s a constant dilemma for the ATO and small business owners alike- they really have little idea what’s involved for bookkeepers to prepare BAS forms. At what stage is someone doing bookwork, and at what stage does that stop and BAS preparation work start? Since most small business woners never really worried about the bookwork until GST came in, it figures that all the bookwork is necessary each quarter just to fill out a BAS form.
So the ATO really need to examine this strange statistic that they have come up with saying that it only takes two hours each quarter for most business owners to complete their BAS

If you’re late with your Business Activity Statements, then our team of Robina bookkeepers can come to the rescue.
