<img align="right"src="http://www.robinabookkeeping.com.au/robina-bookeeping/dentist-robina-bookkeeping.jpg" alt="How Much For Bookkeeping Fees for dentist robina" />Every week we are asked how much for bookkeeping fees. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s a bit like phoning up a car yard and asking how much a car costs.

Rebecca told us: “I’m enquiring on behalf of my husband who has a medium sized dentistry business turning over $1.8m a year.

He currently uses Quickbooks.

Would you please advise your hourly rates and your expected annual fees based on the practice turnover.”

The amount of bookkeeping involved has very little relation to the turnover of a business

We need much more information to be able to help you, such as:
1. Do you have a bookkeeping system in place?
2. Are your books upto date?
3. Does the work need to be done onsite?
4. How many bank accounts / credit cards
5. what volume of paperwork is there?
6. Payroll? How many staff?
7. What version of Quickbooks are you using?

So many questions ….

<img align="right"src="http://www.robinabookkeeping.com.au/robina-bookeeping/quicbooks-book-keeping-help-Burleigh.jpg" alt="QuickBooks Support For Burleigh Builder" />“HELP!, I’ve lost my Quickbooks bookkeeping data“, came the desperate call from a builder in Burleigh. “Can you offer Quickbooks technical support?”

When you have a panic attack, you want the solution fixed ASAP, and not have to worry about losing all the information including invoices and quotes that you’ve issued in the last couple of weeks.

Our Robina bookkeeping service was able to offer immediate help to our Quickbooks boookeeping client in Burleigh Waters. Later in our discussions it transpired that the builder had been in contact with Quickbooks technical support, and they had been UNABLE to offer any practical solution to the Burleigh builder!

We’ve found in the past that Quickbooks technical support may know the accounting software package, but have a challenge when it comes to real live situations.

We’ve never found a bookkeeping problem that we couldn’t solve.

Completing a Business Activity Statement (BAS) can be daunting, so if you need help lodging your BAS forms contact our <a href="http://www.robinabookkeeping.com.au/contact-us/"title="Bookkeeping, Robina Bookkeepers, Gold Coast MYOB, Quickbooks, Robina, Varsity Lakes, Reedy Creek and Mudgeeraba">Robina mobile bookkeepers and bookkeeping services to help with the BAS lodgements

It can be confusing for people who are just starting their small business in and around Robina, Varsity Lakes, Reedy Creek and Mudgeeraba.

Maybe you’ve been trading for some time, and now you find that you’re within reach of the $75,000 threshold, this means that now you’ll need to become GST registered

To claim a GST credit for purchases you must be registered for the GST and have a valid tax invoice for items over $75 (excluding GST). If you use an incorrect or incomplete tax invoice to claim a GST credit, the GST credit may not be allowed.

For purchases that cost $82.50 or less (including GST), you must keep documents such as cash register dockets, receipts or invoices to support your claims. You must also keep your tax invoices and other GST records for five years.
